Fail
I failed straight up, I don’t know any other way to put it. On January 1st, 2009 I typed out my goals, personal, professional, and athletically. One of those goals was to run 3 miles for 30 consecutive games, I made it to 13. I am very disappointed in myself, mostly because I know I could have done it. I carry a little too much weight to do it, and my lower body aches after about 5 days of running.
In 2010 I will lose 10 pounds, run 3 miles a day for 30 days in a row, run 100 miles in one week, and run in a half marathon.

UAH Football
Open letter to the UAH athletic director
Idea: Hire Bobby Bowden to start The UAH football program
Why it would work and benefit the University: It instantly produces more national attention for the University than anything academically or athletically could (I.E. USA Today, ESPN, and PTI). Bobby would be cheap and could easily raise the money to pay for his own salary and the entire football program. His mere appearance would raise the quality of the entire Athletic Department’s ability to recruit. This hiring would also give the football program and uncommon head start for newly created programs.
Why it would benefit Bobby: He has stated that he believes after retirement comes death. Alabama is his home state, and his son coaches UNA. He will have no expectations of any kind. He gets to be intellectually stimulated until he chooses.
Why it benefits you: Your career will be instantly elevated.
Thank you, Robert Daniel Wise
