BEST DOGS FOR RUNNERS

The September 2009 issue of Men’s Journal featured a men’s buyer guide to choosing and purchasing a dog. Included in the buyers guide was a breakdown of what breeds make the best running partners, this of course caught my intention.

Here’s there breakdown in no particular order

1. The Schipperke


Bred as a watch dog, good in small spaces, loves killing rats, and needs more training than most dogs.

2. The Australian Shepherd


Bred as a herder, eager, and needs agility training.

3. The Blue Heeler


Needs to be ran, rugged coat, and nippy without training.
